A longtime writer and content creator who has authored multiple nationally published books and thousands of journalistic articles, Timothy is key to Southern Smoke’s outward growth.

Timothy spent 15 years in print and digital journalism before joining Southern Smoke, most recently as dining editor of Houstonia magazine. He has specialized in writing about food and drink, travel, and the outdoors, also writing two travel books with Hachette Book Group: Drive & Hike Appalachian Trail (2019) and Baseball Road Trips (2021).

As content manager at Southern Smoke since arriving in July 2021, Timothy writes both internal and external copy for the Foundation, including grants and other philanthropic material. He also helps to foster and maintain relationships with donors and foundations.
