Darla has been a Fort Bend County resident since 1993. A successful entrepreneur who served alongside her husband for over 30 years. Darla has extensive business administration, operations, marketing, and customer relations experience.

In 2011, she founded Hope For Three, the leading autism advocacy organization in the Greater Houston area. Her heart, time, energy, and passion continue to be focused on the autism community and the families Hope For Three serves.

Married for nearly 43, years, Darla and her husband Donny have two adult children: Jason and Jennifer, both successful entrepreneurs, and a son-in-law, Dan. They also have two grand pups, Emmy Lou, and Buddy.
