Carole Smith is the Founder and Executive Director of Palmer House, a nonprofit organization serving Fort Bend County for over 11 years. Under her leadership, Palmer House has become a trusted resource for families, single mothers, and youth, especially those aging out of foster care, by providing housing solutions, emergency food support, and wrap-around services that fill critical gaps in the community.
Carole is known for building collaborative partnerships with schools, churches, agencies, and local government, ensuring Palmer House not only responds to immediate needs but also creates long-term pathways to stability and self-sufficiency. Her vision and commitment have shaped programs such as Scratch Hunger, which addresses food insecurity, and Safe Sanctuary, which expands access to housing.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Boston University and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
