Ms. Yasmin Ali, Venue Coordinator for the City of Sugar Land since 2023, manages the suites at the city’s entertainment venues.  Ms. Ali is also the liaison for non-profits and small businesses within Sugar Land. Before joining the City of Sugar Land organization, Ms. Ali previously held a position with the Houston Botanic Garden as exhibition support to the Director of Education.  Ms. Ali joined the City’s Women Empowerment Network (WEN) in 2022 and quickly got to work, becoming the Community Builder Liaison responsible for building relationships with non-profit organizations and organizing WEN’s Day of Service activities every quarter.

Ms. Ali holds a master’s in liberal arts in History from the University of St. Thomas, focusing on integrative racism from the Civil War (Southern Antebellum) to the Civil Rights Era (1960s-70s) in 2021, and received her undergraduate degree. in Political Science in 2015 from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Ms. Ali can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/in/yasmin-a-962537192.
