The Exchange Club of Sugar Land 27th Annual Spaghetti Dinner at Fluor Corporation cafeteria was a huge success. Over 2000 people from the local community attended this family oriented dinner which included a live auction, silent auction and kid’s area with games, prizes and a cake walk. Local law enforcement agencies prepared a variety of spaghetti sauces.
Cook-off Winners for Best Sauce were 1ST PLACE – Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, 2ND PLACE – Sugar Land Police Department, 3RD PLACE – Fort Bend Regional Council, Best Presentation – FBISD Police Department.
Raffle Winners were Dan Farrell – 1st prize Chevy Spark, and Dr. Robert Salchak – 2nd prize $5,000 shopping spree at Gallery Furniture. The funds raised allow The Exchange Club to give over $115,000 to local non-profits including Child Advocates of Fort Bend, Fort Bend County Women’s Center, Texana Center for Autistic Children, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels, Crime Stoppers, Fort Bend Council on Substance Abuse, YMCA, DePelchin, Literacy Council of Fort Bend and numerous local community service projects.
